How does it accumulate?

CES 2025 did not disappoint, especially for playgrounds from PC manufacturers. Lenovo’s CES 2025 was full of him, as everyone would expect, but also full of new products and ideas. Lenovo’s reputation as a risk receiver and innovator was reaffirmed on show by new game laptops, games, desktops and monitors he announced. As expected, all its high -level offers use the latest technologies from leading chip sellers in the world, including AMD, Intel, Nvidia and Qualcomm.

Lenovo Gaming Handdhelds and Tablets

Lenovo has been one of the leaders in the playing hand, especially with his extremely strong hand of the first legion of the Go Gaming. This wrist hit all the necessary notes on screen size, port places, performance and price ($ 699). While Lenovo announced a prototype version of Legion Go 2 in CES with an 8 8.8-inch OLED screen, double RAM and a larger battery than its predecessor, the biggest draw was Legion Go S, which contains an 8-inch screen of Along with the latest processor of AMD I Ryzen Z2 Go. (The company will also offer Z1 to possibly a lower price point.) Lenovo says Legion Go S will send up to 32 GB of RAM and a 55.5 whr battery, which should take quite good battery life .

The big deal here, however, is that Lenovo is sending this device to both versions of Windows and Valve Steamos, which I believe will pressure Microsoft to set a better friendly version of Windows. Customers deserve the choice, and now steamos gives a better game experience than Windows. I had a chance to play with this little device at CES and really noticed how it felt like a refined version of Deck Steam of Valve, but with some of the Lenovo’s own ideas included, and I think it will do very well among customers. It hit the market in January with $ 729, but there will be additional configurations including the Z1 model starting in May that will begin with $ 599. Steamo’s version will also be available in May starting at $ 499.

As for the Legion Go 2 prototype, it contains a very different form factor that is more specific to Lenovo, which makes it look more like a descendant of the original Go Legion. There will be a faster version of the AMD-Z2 extreme processor paired with a much larger 8.8-inch OLED screen and a larger 74 WHR battery, which is likely to be intended to accommodate increased consumption of power from a larger screen (and OLED).

I believe that Legion Go 2 will satisfy a lot from the original Lenovo fans of Legion, while Legion Go S is likely to bring new Lenovo clients from the steam deck, which is still running the older CPU generations and GPU technology . The new AMD Z2 Go processor contains the Nuclei Zen 3 and RDNA 3, while the Z2 Extreme is the high -performance winner with the nuclei 5 and RDNA 3.5. Z2 Extreme also has eight nuclei while the Z2 Go has four. This means that Z2 Extreme also has double the GPU nucleus of the steam deck, so it is an important update. I believe the valve may not make another steam deck for some time, and the actual crops are more dating than the Lenovo Legion GO series.

In addition to the legion go series, Lenovo also announced the Table of the Legion Tab Gen 3 games. This is a game tablet in its truest sense, presenting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor of Qualcomm and a very large 8.8-inch screen 2.5k 165-Hertz with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS storage 4.0. It comes to a full metallic body, maintaining a sense of premium and improved cooling using the Coldfront Legion Steam room and enters only 7.79 mm thick and 350g in weight. Based on this lineup, Lenovo has a hand -playing product for almost any type of gamer on the go. Legion Tab Gen 3 begins with a very reasonable $ 499 and became available in January.

Laptops, desktops and monitors of legion pro

Because all new chip sellers announced new products at CES, there was a relevant link to new laptops from all over the world, including Lenovo. At the forefront of Chip announcements was the new Nvidia RTX 5000 GPU series, displaying the Blackwell architecture that has been coveted by the industry. (This includes the RTX 5090 flag, for which I wrote here.) Lenovo led the 16-inch legion pro 7I charge with a dense 250-vat TDP, and its little brothers The Legion Pro 5 and 5i, both with The same size screen and a 200 -wat but still respectable TDP. These TDPs determine the CPU-GPU combination that is possible based on energy distribution and cooling solution built into that laptop.

These laptops will come with essential processors of Intel Ultra Hx series and will be configuable up to the RTX 5090 model and will appear up to a 16-inch brightness excellent screen of 240-Hertz. They will also have numerous USB-C and USB ports, as well as HDMI 2.1 and Wi-Fi 7 support for connection. Legion Pro 7I will also have a RGB keyboard with personalization for a key, while the other two will have 24 -area RGB. Legion Pro 7I will begin with $ 2,399, while Pro 5I and Pro 5 will start $ 1,499 and $ 1,399 respectively, respectively available in March, May and June, respectively.

In addition to the laptops, Lenovo also announced the Tower of Legion 7I and 5I, both presenting the new desktop processors Core Ultra 9 275Hx of Intel. Legion Tower 5 contains the latest generation of AMD 7950x3D, which seems strange considering that AMD has already started 9800x3D and announced 9750x3D. Oddities continue with Lenovo Lenovo Transport of the RTX 4000 desktop series although Nvidia just announced the RTX 5000 series. One positive thing is that Lenovo systems are set up by users with standard industry components, which is a trend we have seen For Lenovo and Dell to follow after HP placed tonin with the Omen series.

Last but not least are monitors, which include Legion Pro 34WD-10, which uses a 240-hertz OLED screen and 140 watt-dotted power distribution we have seen HP also with monitors of its games Omen. This monitor also contains dacking and KVM change capabilities, so it can serve as the main monitor on the table and can potentially be power and be powered by a laptop using a single cable. It contains an 800R curve, which is a fairly aggressive curvature, but also adds a comprehensive quality, in my opinion.

I saw this monitor personally in CES and really liked the small phone holder inserted into the monitor stand. Odudesically, Lenovo does not find out which OLED panel technology this monitor uses; This seems especially strange given that the rest of the market is very transparent if they are using LG or Samsung panels. However, my research shows that it is likely to be an LG panel, as LG sells a monitor with similar screen specifications and even the same curvature, but without central ability. The only problem with that monitor is that it was announced again in March 2024, so it is a little dated. This monitor is being retailed for $ 799 now, while the new Lenovo monitor will be available in March for $ 999. This eventually feels like Lenovo is shortly after the curve on the screens.

Lenovo focuses on hand games

When it comes to the games, it is quite clear that the concentration of Lenovo is in the hand. The company sees an increase in this space, and I agree that the possibility is there. However, I believe that the company’s access to games needs more cohesion. There is no clear line that connects together different games products, and laptops and desktops do not feel inspired or as connected as competitors are. Moreover, I think Lenovo has a lot of room for improvement in its suburbs, especially after seeing both Dell and HP in their game with their alienware and hyperx brands. If Lenovo does not want to follow the periphems as aggressively, it may be more useful to partnership with a major peripheral manufacturer for co-mark and co-market products.

I believe that Lenovo could find better volumes in hand games in the GO Legion Product Formation, especially taking into account the input price. Legion Go S feels like a spiritual descendant on the steam deck in both his design language and in the software. I’m really excited to see where Lenovo will go with the Go 2 Legion, as the first was one of the prominent games I tested last year.

Handmade games are already becoming quite crowded, and I expect it to become even more competitive before we see a consolidation. Valve is doing clearly a better job to address the needs of the hand market than Microsoft, so I believe it can help increase the segment until Microsoft gets its act together in Windows by hand. Meanwhile, Lenovo has shown that it is still ready to take risks on new shape factors in areas such as hand games and wants to give player choices on operating equipment and systems.
